Fanart for one of my all time favourite pairings.
X-posted at my LJ and Sparrington community.

Although it doesn't exactly correspond to the story (nor do it justice) but I was inspired by rexluscus's Between Wind and Water.

When I was working on the sketch, I was very much excited at the idea of drawing James in his uniform, lying in a pool of navy, white and gold, but just when I was about to start colouring I realized that there wasn't going to be much of the uniform that shows, so I folded it up a bit, which didn't help much... idiot.... Well, at least there's the wig.

So glad to see your work again! Once again, such beautiful perspective and pose! James looks so helpless. I also really love the colors in this one too - Norrington's cool blues and grays next to the warm reds and tans of Jack and the coloring on Norrington's chest and abdomen is absolutely luscious. It all works together wonderfully. Well done!

Also you have made very curious about this pairing and fandom. If it can be as good as this, I'm in. ;)

	I assure you, this is but an tip of an iceberg. The real thing (by this I mean the possibilities you could find in the film and in all the great fanfics) is much better and more exciting than this.
